RIP Grandad. I'm really sorry for your loss, darling. I'm so glad you were strong enough to read stop the clocks for him though, it's one of the most moving pieces of poetry ever and perfectly describes the love and respect you held for a wonderful man. As long as you're around there will always be a piece of him still here and the rest of the selfish sods can go forth and multiply!
How lucky was that about the house! It sounds lovely and I wish you and the LP every happiness in it. Careful tho, babe - you know what they say about new house, new baby! Of course, running round after a child is a good way to help the weight loss along... :)

I have lived, but have never loved until I met my partner.
Things are right yet still wrong.
